A Real Review Of The Emerald Cookies Strain From Emerald Janes

The amount of new cookies strains appearing on recreational store shelves is ridiculous, and I get excited to try every single one. Some are forgettable, but Emerald Jane’s Emerald Cookies strain is a hybrid that I can’t wait to smoke again. The trichomes shine and the tall nug structure has great bag appeal like a Sativa strain. Labeling the front of the packaging with “100% Pesticide Free” never hurts either. I will smoke weed with pesticides in it, but I always prefer cannabis that’s as clean as possible.

Cracking open the bag a pine aroma hits your nose. With sweet undertones, the aroma profile is subtle compared to most, the smell won’t slap you in the nose. The trichomes stick to your fingers as soon as your pick up the bud. The color is very pale green with dark orange hairs sparsely spread around. I appreciated how few stems were in each bud, the gram I bought looked and smoked big.

The Emerald Cookies strain hybrid high hits you at first like a Sativa. You get a little pep in your step and you get a nice, stoney head high that you will feel behind your eyes. I didn’t get any cotton-mouth effects from this strain, but I did get dry eyes. After the peak of the high, the experience started to turn and travel into the rest of my body. I quickly started yawning and went looking for a couch. The Indica effects were much stronger than the Sativa ones in my opinion.

The high I got from the Emerald Cookies strain was almost completely divided in two, slightly Sativa on the up and strong Indica feels on the comedown. I would recommend this strain for your next Netflix session. You will stay invested just long enough to finish a few episodes before the Indica waves start to take over, and you drift off to sleep on the couch.
