The KushKrew Recommends Grabbing Bodhi High’s Powder Hound Terp Crystals

This Powder Hound strain was cultivated by Lazy Bee Farms and processed by Bodhi High into beautiful terp crystals. The Powder Hound strain is a Jack Herer cross, but what it was crossed with is a mystery. These saucy crystals emit a citrusy terpinolene aroma with heavy notes of pine. Terpinolene is the aroma associated with haze strains like Dutch Treat. The consistency of this concentrate makes it great for vape pen chambers. One or two saucy diamonds filled my Ganesh vape pen chamber and gave me four to six quality sized rips.

Powder Hound has an interesting and sweet taste. An interesting mix of pine and creamy citrus. The effects are mellow. I took a large dab in the early morning and it didn’t knock me off my path for the day one step. It provided a mellow focus and head high that lasted well into the afternoon.

Why We Recommend Picking Up Bodhi High’s Dutch Treat Strain Budder

Lazy Bee Gardens’ and Bodhi High’s Dutch Treat strain is everything I’ve come to love from this strain. Their budder concentrate has a complex range of cannabinoids and terpenes. With 83 percent cannabinoids, including 3 percent CBD and 5.1 percent terpenes, this Dutch Treat budder is one of the smoothest and most effective concentrates I’ve ever dabbed.

This strain provides a twitchy focus and strong cerebral buzz that kick-started my writing session. My fingers flew over keys as I typed effortlessly. The small amount of CBD levels out the raciness I’ve experienced from other Dutch Treat strains. This strain is for the creatives and productive stoners.

Bodhi High’s budder has a golden-orange color that has the consistency of cold butter that you just took out of the fridge. Once I forced my dabber through the gram chunk of budder, a vibrant hazy pine and citrus smell filled my nose. The taste was just like the smell, with the haze, citrus, and pine notes blending brilliantly on your pallet. If you consider yourself a Dutch Treat fan, don’t sleep on Bodhi High’s Dutch Treat budder.

Terpenes Should Influence Which Weed You Buy

Since opening in 2014, we’ve noticed that many customers choose to purchase cannabis based on how high the THC percentage is. While THC is one of the important factors behind the “high” people experience, terpenes are the reason why you experience specific types of highs.

Cannabinoids, THC, and terpenes all collide into the beauty that is cannabis. Together, these work in synergy to create an effect that is unique to each strain and flavor. Today we’re excited to talk about six of our favorite terpenes: caryophyllene, humulene, limonene, linalool, myrcene, and pinene.

Caryophyllene – Pronounced “carrie-o-figh-lean”, is said to be an antioxidant and potentially offers anti-inflammatory benefits. It generally smells or tastes like fresh pepper and other earthy spices.

Humulene – Pronounced “hume-uh-lean”, is said to taste and smell earthy with the scent of wood. This terpene is rumored to help with appetite suppression with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Limonene – Pronounced “lime-o-kneen”, is generally always a fan favorite. The smell and taste of citrus, either lemons, oranges, grapefruit, tangerines, clementines, etc. Limonene is typically uplifting and said to be an anti-fungal.

Linalool – Pronounced “lynn-uh-lool”, usually reminds people of fresh lavender. It is said to have sedating qualities and might aid in alleviating insomnia.

Myrcene – Pronounced “mur-scene”, is frequently said to taste both spicy and fruity. Mangoes and cloves typically are the flavors that come to mind, bringing along relaxing and soothing characteristics.

Pinene – Pronounced “pine-kneen”, is one of the most common terps around. This smells and tastes like fresh pine needles and evergreen trees. Pinene is said to have an uplifting effect with potential anti-inflammatory properties.

These six terpenes do not make up the entire list of every available terpene. There are many others that play a role in the world of cannabis. When it comes to cannabis at Kushmart, terpenes are heavily considered in the buying process. Flavorful weed not only tastes better, it typically helps users achieve the specific high they’re looking to experience.
