Why You Should Try The Tangie Sugar Crumble From Honey Tree Extracts

Honey Tree Extracts are processed by the team at Bodhi High. This is their bargain brand, but you’re getting a high-quality product for $25 per gram. Sugar crumble is one of my favorite concentrates because of the balance between high cannabinoid percentages and well round terpene profiles. Honey Tree’s Tangie strain has a vibrant orange aroma and flavor.

The high myrcene content is what gives Tangie its orange aromatics. At 2.5 percent, myrcene accounts for half of the total terpenes detected. Tangie gave me a cerebral buzz and not a lot more. This strain is good for people who enjoy smoking during the day and still need to be productive.

The KushKrew Recommends Picking Up A Gram Of Oregon Silver Haze From Mantis Extracts

Oregon Silver Haze is a special Super Silver Haze phenotype. Super Silver Haze is a cross between Skunk and Northern Lights genetics. This Oregon Silver Haze was cultivated and processed by Mantis Extracts. This strain isn’t for the faint of heart, it gave me a cerebral high I won’t forget.

This strain had a mix of pine, citrus and haze aromas. I recently learned the haze smell I refer to often in my reviews comes from terpinolene. Terpinolene is a terpene that is associated with dutch and haze phenotypes. Mantis’s Oregon Silver Haze had a bite on the exhale. The pine and citrus notes tingling my nose on the exhale.

The resulting high was incredibly potent. One dab launched my mind into orbit for hours. Some of the most intense moments of the high closed in on psychedelic-like vibrations. The walls were vibrating gently as my brain tumbled down an introspective rabbit hole about my place in the universe.

For me, Oregon Silver Haze was like a portal to another dimension. Dabbing this became an experience all its own. This is something I would only recommend for the most experienced dabbers and cannabis users. Clear your schedule and hang on for the ride.

If you need something on the lighter side, try Gilz Nilz from Mammoth Labs, or Strawberry Lemonade Honey Crystal from Sweetwater Farms.

Terpenes Should Influence Which Weed You Buy

Since opening in 2014, we’ve noticed that many customers choose to purchase cannabis based on how high the THC percentage is. While THC is one of the important factors behind the “high” people experience, terpenes are the reason why you experience specific types of highs.

Cannabinoids, THC, and terpenes all collide into the beauty that is cannabis. Together, these work in synergy to create an effect that is unique to each strain and flavor. Today we’re excited to talk about six of our favorite terpenes: caryophyllene, humulene, limonene, linalool, myrcene, and pinene.

Caryophyllene – Pronounced “carrie-o-figh-lean”, is said to be an antioxidant and potentially offers anti-inflammatory benefits. It generally smells or tastes like fresh pepper and other earthy spices.

Humulene – Pronounced “hume-uh-lean”, is said to taste and smell earthy with the scent of wood. This terpene is rumored to help with appetite suppression with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Limonene – Pronounced “lime-o-kneen”, is generally always a fan favorite. The smell and taste of citrus, either lemons, oranges, grapefruit, tangerines, clementines, etc. Limonene is typically uplifting and said to be an anti-fungal.

Linalool – Pronounced “lynn-uh-lool”, usually reminds people of fresh lavender. It is said to have sedating qualities and might aid in alleviating insomnia.

Myrcene – Pronounced “mur-scene”, is frequently said to taste both spicy and fruity. Mangoes and cloves typically are the flavors that come to mind, bringing along relaxing and soothing characteristics.

Pinene – Pronounced “pine-kneen”, is one of the most common terps around. This smells and tastes like fresh pine needles and evergreen trees. Pinene is said to have an uplifting effect with potential anti-inflammatory properties.

These six terpenes do not make up the entire list of every available terpene. There are many others that play a role in the world of cannabis. When it comes to cannabis at Kushmart, terpenes are heavily considered in the buying process. Flavorful weed not only tastes better, it typically helps users achieve the specific high they’re looking to experience.
