Buzzing all around the country, the MAC strain has found popularity in many legal cannabis markets, including in Washington-State and especially here at KushMart North. MAC, also known as Miracle Alien Cookies, is a high-potency hybrid strain. It was first produced by a breeder named Capulator who crossed Alien Cookies with Starfighter and Columbian.
Many breeders try to produce their own cut of this legendary strain. At our Everett dispensary, you’ll find a range of MAC products from brands like Golden Tree Productions, Fleek Leaf Cannabis, Leira, Gold Leaf Gardens, House of Diamonds, Rocket Cannabis, Oleum Extracts, and Mfused. These products include vape cartridges, flower, concentrates, and pre-rolls.

As a cross between Alien Cookies, Starfighter, and the landrace strain, Columbian, MAC holds a wide spectrum of potential effects for both recreational and medicinal users. This premium cultivar typically contains around 22% THC, with CBG as its next prominent cannabinoid, which may lend MAC its potentially relaxing effects.
With a landrace strain, Columbian aka Columbian Gold, in its lineage, MAC holds classic sativa properties. A landrace strain is a pure cultivar that originates in its natural environment and has not been naturally crossbred with any other strains. Additionally, its Alien Cookies parent means it also has the beloved GSC (Girl Scout Cookies) in its family tree as well as Aliendawg. Furthermore, its Starfighter parent brings Alien Genetics to the mix with top-quality cuts, Alien Tahoe OG and Lemon Alien Dawg.
Effects & Terpenes
Additionally, the most prominent terpene in MAC is limonene, which contributes to the strain’s citrus flavor and aroma. Limonene is also partially to thank for MAC’s potentially therapeutic effects due to anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antinociceptive, anticancer, antidiabetic, antihyperalgesic, antiviral, and gastroprotective properties. Following limonene is terpinolene and pinene, with a total terpene content of around 1% on average.
All together, MAC presents a range of potential effects due to its intricate lineage. The MAC strain produces potentially uplifting and euphoric effects that may translate into creativity and motivation. Furthermore, medicinal users find that it might help with their anxiety, depression, and mood swings. Overall, this strain may be great for those that need to de-stress and relax, whether at the end of a long day or to assist in starting the day.
One Leafly user stated in a review that MAC is the “best I’ve had in a bit. Tremendous middle-of-the-road hybrid. Potent. Taste is a heavenly, floral presence. Arguably the best. Highly recommend. Stay on two hits and see where you’re at after 30 mins…definitely seek this strain out. Gold.”
MAC Appearance and Aroma
Though the potentially strong effects are the most exciting part of MAC, don’t look past its illustrious buds. MAC’s dense nugs present a range of light and neon green hues with olive and golden undertones. Frosted trichomes and fiery orange pistils are scattered across the surface and in every crevice of this beautiful flower. Additionally, some cuts of MAC have seen touches of purple too.
