Everyone in the NBA has an opinion on Lonzo Ball, Lavar Ball, and the Big Baller Brand. Whether you like what the family has going for themselves or not, Lonzo is in a good position to succeed. He’s the starting point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers and has the full support of athletes all over.
With so much going for him, his highly anticipated professional debut did not go quite as well as he’d probably have liked. The Lakers lost to the Clippers 108-92 and the 19-year-old sat on the bench for the fourth quarter. The struggle was real for Ball thanks to Patrick Beverley and his defensive pressure on the rookie.
Scoring just three points and accounting for numerous turnovers, the positive is that Ball filled up the stat sheet in other areas. He does show rebuilding and passing skills that make him “worthy” of being a first-round pick and the energy in Los Angeles was high even though the game was a blowout.
Because we ate too many edibles, we only caught a few minutes of the live action. The recap on television was enjoyable though thanks to the Agent Orange from Sweet As Cannabis. Head to your nearest Kush Mart and ask for this strain when you visit next.
